• 4:16 Now Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 4:17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and the regaining of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, 4:19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

This phrase ...the year of the Lord's favor. Could indicate that the kingdom of God is at hand, now, and not in some future "end time".

• 6:47 "Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and puts them into practice – I will show you what he is like: 6:48 He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep, and laid the foundation on bedrock. When a flood came, the river burst against that house but could not shake it, because it had been well built. 6:49 But the person who hears and does not put my words into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against that house, it collapsed immediately, and was utterly destroyed!"

- A Call to Theosis?

• 8:19 Now Jesus' mother and his brothers came to him, but they could not get near him because of the crowd. 8:20 So he was told, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you." 8:21 But he replied to them, "My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it."

- Another reference to Theosis?

• 11:17 But Jesus, realizing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and a divided household falls. So if Satan too is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? I ask you this because you claim that I cast out demons by Beelzebul."

- What Jesus is saying is: clearly the kingdom of Satan is still standing. You can see by what goes on in the world that Satan's kingdom still rules this earth. There is no civil war in Satan's kingdom.
